To recognise the huge improvements in the design and construction of motorhomes and campervans, MMM and What Motorhome magazines, along with their sister magazine, Campervan, are bringing back their annual awards.

The Motorhome Awards 2024 will be presented to the very best models for the coming year to help you make the right buying decision for your next new motorhome.

Because of the growing importance of appeal of campervans, we have created a separate awards just for campervans this year.

The main motorhome categories include:

Best Compact Motorhome

Manufacturers have really embraced the idea that motorhomes can be slimmer and more compact yet still offering all the luxuries of home.

Best Family Motorhome

We’ll be looking for motorhomes that offer enough payload for the whole family with an emphasis on practical layouts, ample storage and great value for money.

Best Fixed Double Bed Motorhome

Whether it is a French bed, transverse or an island, we’ll be looking at useful under-bed storage, access and the compromise between fixed bed comfort and the rest of the layout.

Best Fixed Single Bed Motorhome

If you want comfort of a fixed bed, but with the luxury of individual beds, then this is the layout for you.

Best Drop-Down Bed Motorhome

One of the most important innovations of the last few years, models with lowering beds as their primary night-time accommodation are a big growth area.

Best Luxury Motorhome

Buyers expect the best when a motorhome costs over £100k, whether that’s superior build quality, enhanced standard kit or a comprehensive options list to tailor their home-on-wheels to their own needs.

Best Motorhome Innovation

We’ve seen some amazing design features and technical enhancements in motorhomes over the years and these continue to surprise and delight us so we can’t wait to shortlist and judge entrants in this category.

Best Motorhome 2024

This is the top award and will go to the motorhome that impresses the judges most in every respect.

Motorhome Dealer of the Year

This public vote saw motorhomers and leisure vehicle enthusiasts from across the UK vote for their favourite motorhome dealer who goes above and beyond to give top-quality service.

Motorhome Awards 2024  

Judges

New motorhomes from across Europe and the UK will be assessed by our expert team using decades of motorhome reviewing and real-life motorhoming experiences to narrow down the shortlists. Leading the team will be Peter Vaughan, MMM Road Test Editor, What Motorhome magazine Editor and YouTube star, who has been reviewing motorhomes since before he could drive.

Also on the judging panel are MMM Deputy Editor, Rachel Stothert, and Campervan Editor, Iain Duff. Rachel was almost raised in motorhomes and has been working on MMM for 15 years, while Iain has been a camper for most of his life, and like many of you, made the switch from tents to campervans after lockdown. He took the helm at Campervan magazine in November 2022.
